Please consider joining Curtain Raisers by becoming a member. You will get all our emails with notices of our events, and your membership helps us fund scholarships and theater education programs.

Our annual membership is open to all men and women. There are three categories of membership:
Players $25.00
Directors $50.00
Angels $100.00

Membership renewals are sent out every year in the fall. Additional donations are welcome.

Curtain Raisers of The Claremont Colleges is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Your donation is tax deductible to the extend allowed by law. Our tax identification number is 95-3580016.

Events
Join us for a year of entertaining events! Past events have included plays with either a lunch or reception or programs that include interesting speakers and presentations. Your membership will include invitations to all our events. It's a great way to support theater in our local community and meet people like you who love theater!

Events for 2025-26
During the 2025-2026, Curtain Raisers has planned a variety of programs. Invitations with detailed information will be sent a month prior to the event.

October 24 – At our Scholarship Luncheon at Pomona College’s Frank Dining Hall, we will hear from our scholarship recipients.

November 30 – IVRT’s Holly Dolly Christmas is sure to put you in a holiday mood. Kim Eberhardt will perform some of the most beloved Dolly Parton’s songs.

February 15 – Citrus College presents Cabaret in the immersive and intimate environment of the Kit Kat Klub. Lunch with your friends before the play.

March 5 or 6 – Enjoy an evening at Pomona College’s Allen Theatre for dinner and a brilliant contemporary comedy, Yoga Play.

April 28 – Our Annual Meeting program will include a panel of locals who have made a career of acting.

May 31 - Claremont High School will present a yet-to-be-announced musical at Bridges Auditorium.
