Events for 2026-27

During the 2026-27 year, Curtain Raisers has planned a variety of programs. Invitations with detailed information will be sent a month prior to the event.

• September  26th – Our Kickoff Party and Membership Drive will be held at Mt. San Antonio Gardens. Four local performing arts programs will share short presentations.  Bring friends to this complimentary event who may want to join Curtain Raisers. (view invitation here)

• October 29th - .  The Scholarship luncheon will be held in the lobby of the newly renovated Bridges Auditorium.  We will  hear from our Curtain Raiser Scholarship recipients then be among the first to see the freshly spruced up Bridges Auditorium. (view invitation here)

• November 29th – IVRT’s Plaid Tidings. Join your Curtain Raisers friends to get into the holiday mood. A Christmas Spectacular that bundles the best of Forever Plaid into one unforgettable evening – wrapped up in a sparkling bow of laughter, nostalgia and yuletide joy.  Packed with holiday classics cleverly “ Plaid-erized” your favorite quartet returns to deck the halls with music, mischief and a whole lot of heart. • Our events for January – May will be determined when we receive information from our local theatres.  In the past, our Curtain Raisers events have included productions from local theatres including  Claremont High School, Citrus College, Ophelia’s jump and others.  Meanwhile, we will continue to send emails about local theatre productions that you might be interested in.
